In this day and age, there’s no more important gift to give your kids than the gift of the technology that they’ll encounter in their lives. That’s where the Vtech Laptop comes in!
There are quite a few Vtech laptop “computers” to choose from, whether you have a baby, toddler, or preschooler…and beyond! In this article, we’ll review a few of these laptops for different age groups.
Vtech Baby Learning Laptop
My own kids actually had this particular Vtech laptop when they were babies, and they loved it! From the minute they could sit upright, they would play endlessly with this toy, hear the sounds and music, press the buttons which are different shapes and colors, and play with the “mouse” which is attached. The super thing about this Vtech laptop is that it has a volume control for those times you may not want to hear all those sounds and music, but your baby does!
Vtech Tote and Go Laptop
This Vtech laptop is just perfect for your toddler or preschooler. It comes in bright colors – either orange or pink – and has over 30 different activities built-in for your toddler or preschooler to play around with! It has a removable mouse that you can situate on either the left or the right side, and has an LCD screen to display fun animations! The keyboard includes letters, numbers, colors and shapes – so lots of learning opportunities for your little one!
Vtech Grade School Learning Nitro Web Laptop
This Vtech laptop is an absolute powerhouse of learning fun for those kids aged five to eight! With over 70 activities, both online and offline, as well as a real working mouse, this toy will not only keep your child entertained for hours, but he or she will be “secretly” learning in the process!
So if you’re looking for an electronic learning toy for your child this Christmas, a Vtech laptop can’t be beat!
First, some agencies vary in this, but I recommend getting industry-standard professional photography for your baby or toddler. Why? Because industry-standard professional pictures show the potential buyer or casting director exactly what your child will look like when shooting for their professional project. I do not recommend using portrait photography or snapshots as the sole tool for your agency to use in representation. Unfortunately, your child will grow very quickly, so you do not need to spend thousands of dollars on their shoots, however, they do need to utilize the best photographers you can afford. Typical shoots for lifestyle markets can range from 0-0. Also, unless your agency specifically requires it, I do not recommend getting these photos mass reproduced. After 6-8 months, you will need to reshoot and those images will be outdated. The benefit from shooting these industry standard professional pictures is that the agency can use them, as well as the parent having amazing pictures every 6-8 months for the child’s scrapbook.
Second, remember each agency is different and baby/toddler projects are typically the smallest part of what the agency books. Therefore, you should not expect a call, audition or booking every month. However, one project could reimburse you for the investment.
Third, the agency needs to be well aware of your baby’s temperament. Is your child a sleeper? A talker? Smiles a lot? When does your child take naps? Does your child warm-up easily to new people or does your child take a bit of time to warm-up? This is important, as some projects and buyers need specific types of babies. Not all projects need a perfect-smiling baby.
Fourth, feel free to enter your baby/toddler in online contests and projects. This could help reimburse your investment in pictures and your child’s amazing photos could help win extra exposure. Just be sure to clear every project with your talent agency.
Finally, always check-in with your agency via email and email any updated snapshots that you take of your child. For example, if your child grows their first tooth, the agency should know. This is important, as your child changes often and the agency or booker should know about these changes. Also, making sure your agency has correct sizes are important, as not every 2 year-old child wears a 2T.
Have fun with the pictures and give your agency the best tool they have to represent your baby/toddler!
BIRTHDAY JOKES & CHILDREN HUMOR –HILARIOUSLY FUNNY CHILD SATIRE, BABY, TODDLERS HUMOUR
It’s quite amazing how humorous a child can be, what satirical even comical situation can arise with kids, in these hilariously funny birthday and children, baby and toddler jokes…
When the little girl returned from her friend’s birthday party, her mother asked if she had thanked the hostess of the party before leaving. “No.” said the little girl, “The person before me did, and my friend’s mother said ‘Don’t mention it’ -so, I didn’t…”
“So, what are we then -boy or girl?” asked one of the baby twins, and “I know how to find out,” said the other and disappeared under the sheets, then reappeared, and declared “I am a boy, and you are a girl.” “O-oh, how clever you are!” exclaimed the girl baby, “How could you tell!?” and boy baby proudly explained, “Oh, it was easy to tell -I am wearing blue booties, and you are wearing pink ones…”
An elderly man asked a young boy if he could see him across the road. The boy crossed the road, stood on the pavement, turned to him and shouted: “Yes.. I can…”
The little girl tossed some pieces of bread to a bird at the zoo, and when the bird looked to her for more, she asked her mother what bird it was. Told that it was a stork, the little girl was so excited: “O-oh.. it must have recognised me!..”
The little boy, came in running and excitedly announced that he had sold the cat for £10,000. “O-o-h…” asked his father, “They paid by cheque?” “No..” replied the boy, ” I got two £5,000 kittens for it…”
“Did you put an ad. in the local paper, about your missing dog..?” asked a boy’s friend. “Don’t be silly..” he said, “My dog can’t read…”
The little girl, before going to bed, said her prayers: “… God, please make bad people good.” She then added: “And good people nice…”
“Yup!” boasted the young boy to her friends: “I jumped on a young girl the other day, lay her down on the ground, pulled up her skirt, tore her stockings off, grabbed hold of her panties.. and tore the elastic out for my catapult!”
“Uncle won’t be arriving today,” announced mum, after she was telephoned the news, “He’s missed the train today and will start at the same time, tomorrow”. “Oh, dear!” remarked the little girl, “He’s going to miss it again then, isn’t he, if he starts at the same time…!?”
An anecdote, about his in childhood rather plump eldest son, of teacher and thinker the late Orhan Seyfi Ari: “Other children grow vertically, mine horizontally!”
“How did you get that black eye!?” exclaimed the little boy’s mother. “You told me good boys don’t fight,” he said, “but one fought back!..”
“You ask so many questions -I can’t know the answers to all of them” exclaimed, rather tired, a parent, “Do you know what might have happened if I had asked my parents as many questions as you do!?” The child thought, then replied “You might’ve known the answers..?”
“Thank you, auntie,” said the little girl as she opened her birthday present, “I always wanted a nice pin cushion.. but not very much…”
As your baby develops through the first years of their life, you might be overwhelmed with how many changes occur in your child each day. The baby toddler years are fraught with a constant evolution as she learns something new each day. From first words to first steps, there are many joyous milestones to celebrate. Since so much can change each and every day, it can be easy to miss certain achievements. It’s a good idea to know what to expect developmentally as your baby becomes a toddler and begins exploring even more.
Around 16 months is when your baby is considered a toddler. She’ll begin to turn pages of a book while you read to her, start to walk really well, begin to sing, and will start to express frustration over her limitations. These are important milestones to look for. 17 months is when your toddler should be enjoying a toy that she can ride and like playing games with you. There will be much more exploring going on as well, which you can expect basically from here on out. At 18 months, you’ll be proud to see your toddler drawing a scribble and hear her say around 15 to 20 words. Soon, her vocabulary will start to grow exponentially each day.
Between 19 and 20 months, she’ll start to feed herself, run, brush her teeth with some help, and take off her own clothes without help. At 21 months, her vocabulary will be growing by 5 words each day. Your toddler will also begin walking up stairs pretty well. The next few months, you’ll see her start to imitate people, hear her form 3 to 4 word sentences, name pictures in books, and name body parts. There are so many wonderful things to see your child doing in the baby toddler years.
